Oct 06 2009 -- Hogge is on a Roll!!

Pappenhausen suffered a mechnaical issue forcing him into the pits and out of the running.

With 9 laps remaining Decker caught a big rut in turn 1 almost sending his 84 Victory Circle flipping.  Decker saved it from flipping but took it straight into the turn 2 wall bringing out the red flag.  Deckers car was a destroyed, but Jeff walked away from the accident with just minor injuries.

This set up a battle between Hogge and points contender and 2008 Champion Chris Shannon.  Hogge and Shannon put on a great fight for the fans, but Hogge was able to take the checkered and extend his points lead over Shannon.
