Taking just 3 from each heat to the main event almost wrapped thing up for shank after Duty foud himself starting 7th in Fridays 'B' Main. Duty sat outside the top 6 (transfer positions) for most of the race, but made a few important passes and finished 5th in the 'B' which gave him a 20th position start for the Main Event with Shank starting on the front row.
Duty battled to a 10th place finish with shank dropping back finishing 11th. These two are never separated by much.
Now onto Saturday nights 40 lap feature. Shank once again had a front row start after winning the 8 lap dash, while Duty was stuck with a 16th starting position.
